It is now not very Notskicks! I feel it is a very short life for the price. As pictured by a user and posted along with this item, I have the same syndrome (light chipping on the edge and black deposit inside the bottom). It was good at first, but now we need to buy a new one since pretty much everything stick! I recommend you to try another product. I have just order Cuisinar skillet. But I bought it from the warehouse deals, and didn't realize that "refurbished" meant it would have visible damage to it (the lid on mine is dented). So, buyer beware... a refurbished item might have damage that is not decribed and not what you expect. The warranty is void if the pan is used for anything above medium heat. The bottom of my pan is no longer non-stick, but rather brown, almost rusty looking.
